"Sunnyside Croft - Conditions of Holiday Letting"

Please read carefully the following and proceed with booking/enquiry form at the bottom of the page.

When a holiday booking is confirmed with us you are entering into a contract which binds you the customer and Sunnyside Croft in various ways.  We have set out below the obligations we have toward each other. Reservations of accommodation are accepted by Sunnyside Croft on the following conditions:

The booking agreement confers a right to occupy the accommodation for the period agreed for holiday purposes only.  The terms of the rent act are excluded.  The signatory to the booking form accepts liability for the behaviour of all party members and for ensuring that conditions of hire are adhered to and for loss or damage to the accommodation and the contents.   Accommodation booked is for the number of persons specified only.  Any changes to the occupancy agreed on booking must be agreed with Sunnyside Croft prior to arrival.  Occupancy above the maximum capacity of the property is not permitted.  Only those persons listed on the booking form may occupy the accommodation.  If this condition is breached in any way we reserve the right to terminate the contract immediately, without refund.

After an initial enquiry a provisional booking will be held for 7 days pending receipt of 50% of the total rental and a completed booking form.  On receipt of this a confirmation and receipt will be forwarded.

Balance due 4 weeks prior to arrival date.

In case of cancellation, we will endeavour to re-let the accommodation and if successful a refund, less any incurred expenses, will be made. If unsuccessful in reletting accommodation we will withhold all monies paid.  We recommend that you take out holiday insurance. Should the accommodation become unavailable due to circumstances beyond our control we will not be liable for compensation, but all monies will be refunded.

Accommodation is available at 4.00 p.m. on day of arrival in normal circumstances and must be vacated by 10.00 a.m. on day of departure.  Please notify us if you intend to arrive later than 6 p.m.

The customer is responsible for all damages/breakages during their stay.  Sunnyside Croft reserve the right to require the payment of a ‘Damage Deposit’ on or before the date of arrival, the sum of £100.00 by separate cheque or cash on arrival.  All monies so paid will be refunded in full by post after departure providing the accommodation is left as it was found. Any loss or damage to accommodation and equipment or environs will be charged against the total retainer.

Customers are asked to leave the accommodation and its contents clean and tidy when vacating. No fat left in pots and pans please.  If excessive cleaning is required a double cleaning charge will be levied, normally £50.00.  Please report any damages or breakages immediately.  Any damage or breakages of the fittings, utensils, crockery or cutlery must be reported to Reception and will be charged for.

Children must not be left unsupervised inside property, deck area of property or any of Sunnyside Croft policies at any time.

Sunnyside Croft, as the owner of the property, does not accept any responsibility for loss or damage to tenants personal belongings, baggage, vehicles or trailers or any property left in it or on its policies.

Due to the nature of waste water disposal, only detergents and cleaning products supplied by Sunnyside Croft may be used.  Sanitary bags will be provided for any other items only toilet paper may be flushed. Cooking fat, grease etc must not be disposed of down the sinks.

No fires will be permitted on the policies of Sunnyside Croft.  Barbeques permitted only on specific barbeque area.

No unnecessary noise at any time and especially between the hours of 11.00 p.m. and 8.00 a.m..

Whilst on our Croft please remember to follow the Country Code.

We regret no pets are allowed and our accommodation is non-smoking.

Please adhere to a 10 m.p.h. speed limit whilst on the Croft access road.

If any of the above conditions are breached Sunnyside Croft reserves the right to terminate the contract immediately without refund of monies...
